Welcome.
Someone who knows you—really knows you—shared this with you because they saw something rare in you: a curious mind, a hunger for meaning, and the courage to ask real questions.
They thought you should know there’s a place for you.
At St. John’s College, in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico, we read books—entire books, deep and beautiful books. We talk about what they mean, how they change us, and why they matter. We study philosophy, literature, mathematics, science, music. We learn Ancient Greek and French so we can read the words as they were first written. Our classes are small. The conversations are serious. Everyone reads the same books, and everyone brings their own thinking to the table.
There are no majors. No lectures. No hiding behind screens. Just students and faculty members, learning together, asking hard questions, and pursuing truth for its own sake.
It’s not for everyone. But it might be for you.
If you’ve been searching for something real—something deep, human, and alive—we would love for you to join us. Come read with us.
